Description

From Route 79, the trail starts (and soon passes) the Cold Stream Trail. You slowly rise through grassy fields featuring ancient pines and live oak trees. After half a mile, you cross Stonewall Peak Trail and some rocky terrain.

You soon reach the apex of the trail, and after another half mile you come to the horse-trailer parking lot. Continue on past Little Stonewall Peak until you dead end on the Stonewall Peak Fire Road.

Flora & Fauna

Big pine and live oak grow here.
