Description

Short trail connecting Bear Meadows Loop to Wampler Road. Starting from Bear Meadows Loop heading south, hikers will go up a moderate incline to an intersection with section 8 of the Mid State Trail. About 25 yards after the intersection is a smaller campsite with a fire ring on a charcoal flat.

The descent down to Wampler Road is generally pretty thick with Mountain Laurel. There are a few other potential campsites on small charcoal flats, though not as large as the first campsite closest to the Mid State Trail. About 0.25 miles before Wampler Road is Gettis Spring to the west of the trail.
