Description

This trail travels past an old train trestle, over two bridges, and along segments of the historic Rio Grande Southern Railway. Much of the trail is singletrack, though the southern portion now follows dirt roads.

There are some steep drop-offs to the river below, but with waterfalls, edible wild berries, and just amazing scenery, this is a perfect trail. The grade never exceeds that of a train line, so while it climbs continuously, it's never steep.

Did the southernmost end of the trail. It was basically a dirt road for cars. Pretty scenery but not particularly fun
