Description

Following Lake Washington, the Beach Trail makes for a relatively flat, easy hike. From the North Trail, you can hike along its full length to reach the South Ridge Trail or head uphill early to Seminary Trail, Grotto Trail, or South Canyon Trail.

The trail is well maintained, though it can be fairly muddy in places when it rains. You'll have to navigate some roots, rocks, and other typical trail features. It passes through a picnic area and a few wooden gates. Stay near the lake to stay on the trail.

Flora & Fauna

You can sometimes see eagles throughout this second-growth forest.
