Description

Only a little up the road from the CBD, this beautiful protected forest is now accessible to hike. Utiwai starts at Camp Elsdon and arrives 40 or so vertical meters above Chimney Sweep. There is a descent planned from here all the way to the gate, with the final 450m almost complete. However the rest is still to be signed-off on.
