The trails at Galbraith Mountain are built and maintained by the WMBC - Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition and mountain bikers account for most of the traffic. Hikers are still welcome, but many trails are for descending riders only.

Description

Kaya received a pretty pronounced "hair cut" in mid-2017 and hikers will quickly climb out of the trees and into a clear cut. The trail still has much of the sweeping turns and occasional obstacles that made it an easy and pleasant trail, you'll just get a lot more time in the sun. Kaya can be traveled in either direction and can be accessed from Road 1100 and Hopscotch from the south or the Bunny Trail and Ursa Major from the north.
