Dos del Sabion

This is a short downhill trail that leads from Dos del Sabion (2101m; 6893ft) off the backside of the mountain towards a pass at the Bregn da l'Ors (1850m; 6069ft). There are a number of trails that intersect at the pass. Dos del Sabion is accessible from the Telecabina Pinzolo (bubble lift). There is a great 360-degree view from the summit with the Dolomiti di Brenta to the east and the Gruppo dell'Adamello and the Gruppo della Presanella massifs to the west. These contain peaks over 3000m (10,000ft) and the peaks to the west are glacier-covered.

The trail itself is very narrow and somewhat technical in places as it descends steeply on the tread cut into the steep side of the mountain. There are a few places you might graze some scrubby trees and bushes, but other than that it is pretty open.
