The trail follows a bluff along the river with many lookout or photo opportunities along the way. Eventually, the trail begins to meander through the forest and towards "Hobbs Cabin". At the end of a trail, you will find Hobbs Cabin, some campsites, and an outhouse. Reservations are required for both the cabin and the campsites. Hobbs Cabin has 6 wooden bunks and a fireplace where you can burn wood to heat the cabin. There are plenty of streams for water and most crossing have a bridge or log available to cross on.
