Description

This trail peels off Hannah's Creek Trail after about a mile and a half from the Robbins Branch parking lot. Look to the left for the yellow blazes. Shortly after entering the trail, you cross a small creek and come upon the campground with a cement dedication to the boy scouts who built the infrastructure. From here, the trail heads up to create a shortcut to the Birkhead Mountain Trail. Tree fall can obscure the trail but as long as you look for the yellow blazes, you'll connect up with the Birkhead Mountain Trail.
