Starting at the parking lot, follow the grass path through the field and up to the Lighthouse. The trail will come up to Admiralty Head Lighthouse, and then it will keep going on to Battery Van Horne. It will loop back around next to the lighthouse and Battery Turman. Follow the trail until you get to the round-a-bout.

Take the trail on your right. You'll follow this up and around the bluff on the outside of the batteries. You'll come to a Y intersection, take a left. Follow this trail down to the road (which is a trail). Take a right, now as soon as you see stairs going up the hill to your left, take them. Follow the trail past the observatories, across the field, and back to the parking lot.
