Description

The all-season singletrack trails Snagmore and Boundary Ridge are vastly superior to the old doubletrack Iron Springs (aka Iron Creek). The old trail is still used as a XC ski trail in the winter and it is a lot shorter and less hilly - but not as fun.

Boundary Ridge is basically all hill; like Snagmore it climbs to the summit ridge only to descend again. Unlike Snagmore, this climb is more mellow, with a 7% average grade. If you're on the return to the West Bragg Creek trailhead, you can spend your last energy getting to the summit and just enjoy the 3km descent back to your car.

Near both the northern and southern ends of the trail it crosses the Iron Springs, Elbow & Sundog doubletrack ski trails a few times. A map is posted at each intersection but you can basically just pick the singletrack option each time.
