Family Friendly Short distances and little elevation gain makes this an easy walk for small children.

Description

A well-marked short loop nature trail with many informational markers along the way identifying plants. The trailhead is adjacent to the campground restrooms, with parking spaces near the trailhead.

The trail is wide with a well-maintained gravel surface, but there are a few steps along the way that would make it challenging for wheelchair access.

Look for the Cochise Connector Trail halfway around the loop that will lead to the Cochise Stronghold Trail #279.
