Description

There isn't anything particularly distinctive about this trail. It leaves Mount Defiance Trail #413 and heads north through the forest along a fairly level grade. About 0.5 miles in, the trail descends a steep grade to reach the shore of Bear Lake, a lovely little alpine lake. The trail can be rocky at times but is easy to follow. There are a few secluded camping spots at the north end of the lake.
