This trail leads from the North-South Trail (South Section) to Telegraph Trail, leading through some newer forest and open fields. From the North-South Trail (South Section), turn left onto the trail, watching for the sign at the split. Trudge through some of the new forest, and shortly you'll come into an open area that is a field. The trail here can get a little hard to follow, but more or less stay straight until you come across the intersection of FS 230. Cross over and look for the remnants of an old planter— that's how you know you are on the right track. The forest retakes this portion of the trail, so continue on until the junction is reached with Telegraph Trail.
