“This trail is useful for crossing the creek in wet conditions.
”
This trail starts at the Boundary Trail and follows a wide dirt road trail to the Oak-Hickory Trail. There is a useful bridge near the beginning of the trail that allows you to cross the creek without getting wet. Expect thick forest with up to 200 feet of elevation change.
'Thongs' are trees modified by native tribes to mark boundaries. Keep your eye out for strange bent trunks at 90-degree angles along this trail. However, no thongs were noticed during the initial surveying of this trail.
