Features Birding · Lake · Wildlife

Family Friendly This is an easy trail suitable for all ages and abilities, however it does get very close to the water's edge. Wildlife can be seen all along the trail. Camping and a playground are nearby.

Description

Access the trail from the main park Visitor Center via the Mayo Wix Trail or the Campers Launch Ramp, both located along the main Bledsoe Park Road. From either point this will be an out-and-back hike unless you opt to continue onto the High Ridge Trail and complete the full park loop of about 2.6 miles.

Flora & Fauna

Songbirds, ducks, geese, turkey and deer are commonly seen along this trail. A variety of cedars, oaks and other hardwoods grow along the route.
