Description

The eastern portion of this trail is shared with Kernan Road, which is a fire road. From there on it's all singletrack up to Los Pinos Road (another large unpaved road).

The intersection is well marked, and the trail resumes downhill, in the shadow of Corte Madera Mountain. This peak is a big granite block used by climbers, and it provides great views.

Most of the trail is characterized by dense brush alongside it, keeping it well shaded. Some of the uphill sections are a bit challenging. Those brief segments are limited though, and the trail overall proves to be great fun without being too tiring.
