Description

This trail (blazed with purple) takes you across two bridges. Depending on which way you decide to face this trail, you'll end up with a decent descent or a strenuous slog up the hill; at the top, the trail levels off nicely and follows an old access road. While not the longest trail in the system, the wildlife usually seen along this trail make this a must-see in the system.

The trailheads at West Fork and Pine Ridge both have nice picnic areas although the West Fork Road Trailhead is not usually as busy as the parking spots near Pine Ridge.
