This is a popular multi-use trail so be aware of cyclists on the trail.

Description

As a climb the bottom of Sinks Way Trail starts in the valley off of the Rock Cut Trail and quickly climbs to the top of the ridge where it ends at a junction with the East Ridge Trail and Powerline Trail.

As one of, if not the steepest, trails in the park it's a real challenge. Hikers will ascend nearly 600 feet in 0.5 miles by climbing five tight switchbacks. If you don't like heights then this is not the trail for you. The route is moderately rocky with several nicely maintained curves along the way.
