Description

This is a nice short trail that follows an old logging road to Zimmerman Lake, which sits just outside the boundary of the Neota Wilderness. The path to the lake is a wide dirt road with a steady incline. The trail is partially shaded until you reach the lake.

There is a primitive trail that circles the lake, but there are no constructed trails into the Neota Wilderness. However, it is navigable. The trail around the lake is mostly covered and narrow.

The trail to the lake was a nice hike up. Going around the lake was very muddy and there were many signs of bears in the area. 3mi
