Description

This trail starts across the river. Taking the trail left at the wooden map sign, it parallels the river. The trail follows an obscure path up the ridge to its top. The trail is unkempt and somewhat difficult to find through here; pay close attention to the blazes.

Eventually, the trail reaches the junction with the Peg King Spur Trail and continues straight. The trail descends and passes by a White Pine (on the left) with a DBH of nearly 7 feet. The trail ends where it starts. Despite having been recently blazed, it appears no real maintenance has been done in a while.

For more information on the trails in Hemenway State Forest, don't bother going to their site. Their trail map is inadequate.
