Description

This trail starts from Junction 5 and heads southwest towards the river. The trail crosses the river on a bridge and turns left. The trail crosses Route 113A and begins to climb up to Junction 15. Here, if you are looking for a little more distance, you can opt to go left to add on the Firetower Loop.

To stay on the trail, turn right. It merges with Hemenway Trail/ Hemenway Road for about 0.3 miles up to Junction 16; here the trail veers left (signed as Middle Trail for Hemenway State Forest). The trail continues climbing but shortly levels off. It continues this way until an obscure trail comes down from the rear right; this trail is the North Connector Trail.

Continuing straight, the trail descends as it reaches the edge of Great Hill Pond. The trail skirts around the east edge of pond and ends at Junction 14. Taking a left here will continue Corridor #220; right will continue Great Hill Pond Loop (along Corridor #130).
