This short trail does have one good uphill that poses a bit of a challenge from the start. The trail also provides access to the trail which leads to Santo Antônio beach. The trail then descends to Lopes Mendes beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

There is another way to get to Lopes Mendes without having to climb the hill on T11 Trail. Hikers can also access the beach from Aroeira Road, which starts at a stretch of T12 (Pouso - Farol dos Castelhanos) and ends at the end of Lopes Mendes Beach (left corner).

With beaches, gazebos, mangroves, natural swimming pool, a church, and vestiges of indigenous civilizations (fixed polishing grinders), this trail is short trail has plenty to see along the way!
