This purple-blazed segment is also part of the Palmetto Trail Enoree passage (which is blazed yellow). This is one of the least used parts of the trail. While it is not a technical trail, portions are neglected and in fall and winter leaves can hide roots and pot holes. Most of this segment is through the forest, but there are brief gravel segments.
