Description

The Ridge (West) features some nice hiking in between super steep and loose climbs/descents. Almost everyone will have to slow down for some scrambling at one point or another, and some of the trail is difficult to even walk on; however, the views and less steep hiking are worth the trip every once in a while.

It's easier to hike from west to east (as shown). Starting from Lake Road, the hiking is reasonable until reaching the V Trail; however, just past the intersection the trail becomes very steep and loose, making slow travel and cautious foot placement a must.

From the top of this hill on, there are some steep, loose climbs and super steep descents all the way until you reach Upper Soccer and the continuation of this trail on Ridge Trail (East).

Great trail to get a little heavy breath going. Watch of for spider webs. Saw a deer down in the valley while walking the trail. 0.8mi
