Description

Starting at the top of Halfmoon Trail #1003, the trail meanders along the ridge gradually uphill. At the approximate half way point, you'll pass the intersection with the German Wilson Trail #1038. From there, the grade increases in pitch and the rocks become more exposed.

Near the top, watch for a small trail on your left that descends towards a rocky outcropping and campsite with panoramic views of the valley north of Little North Mountain.
