Description

From West Branch Trail/ Snowmobile Junction 41E, the northern portion of the Pine Barrens Trail travels west over Fred Jones Bridge. That trail then turns left and follows the powerlines. At the next junction, you'll have 3 trail choices. A right will take you down the north section of the loop. Heading straight (following the powerlines) will take you down this southern section of the loop. Snowmobiles aren't authorized on this portion of the loop. The trail weaves through pine and scrub oak forest back to its junction beneath the powerlines.
