2,000 feet is hardly considered a highland in New Hampshire, yet this trail does make a stiff climb.

Description

This trail starts off the Old Mail (XC) Road. It ascends up an eroded, rocky trail to its junction at the top with Hunter's Trail (on the left). If you take a left onto the Hunter's Trail, there are some large boulders that may be of interest. Supposedly, there is an extension of this trail that continues the trail off the map; I have yet to discover it.
