Evan's Trail starts from the east end of the parking lot. The trail is generally traveled clockwise (as mapped) so head left along the fence line, or right at the cattle fence line if you wanted to hike in reverse.

In the clockwise direction, the trail heads into a rolling descent that switchbacks into the ravine. Where the trail reaches a gate crossing a road, head through the gate and keep west along the fence line. The return leg of the loop makes a rolling climb back up to the parking area.

This is a popular trail with mountain bikers, be alert as you hike.
