Description

This trail drops down out of the woods and along the banks of the Tar Branch and fallen boulders from erosion. The overhang and fallen rocks are layered with millions of years of sedimentary rocks, with fossilized clam shells and other prehistoric marine life when Texas was under a shallow ocean that stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Ocean.
