Description

The Natural Bridge Trail is located in Grand Gulf State Park. The trail is a gravel path follows a remnant of an ancient collapsed cave system that has formed one of the largest natural bridges in Missouri. The trail leads over the natural bridge and offers a glimpse into the Grand Gulf (aka Grand Canyon of Missouri) as it travels along the edge. Hikers can see wildflowers and wildlife as along the trail.

While offering views of the gulf in the summer, the best time to hike this trail is in the late fall and winter seasons when the leaves are down and the views are better. The area is also less crowded then.
