Description

From Meridian Ridge Fire Road, head south through chaparral. The trail is steep and narrow—keep an eye out for poison oak. After about half a mile, the Falls Trail forks to the left and the Middle Trail continues uphill to the right. Stay to the right and climb the switchbacks up a steep slope to Prospector's Gap Fire Road.

This trail is often used to make larger hiking loops in the park.
