Description

This is a short path near the Rocky Point parking lot, showcasing the World War II gun batteries protecting NY harbor.

The path starts by going behind the back of three bunkers before looping around to the front. In front of the southernmost bunker sits a 68-foot long, 120-ton World War II naval gun.

The park map shows the trail going through one of the bunkers, but the gate is closed. A dirt path can be used to complete the loop back to the parking lot
