Description

This is one of the many trails that exist in the Gunpowder Falls State Park trail system in the Hereford system. This trail hugs the Gunpowder Falls closely, so much so that you may need to watch your footing at various places so as to not end up in the water!

The trail is a mix of single and doubletrack with some rocky sections where you'll have to watch your footingand there are a few small stream crossings too! This trail runs right along the Gunpowder Falls on mostly easy singletrack!

There are some semi-technical hills on the eastern portions of this trail so bring your good legs with you. There is one large uphill and one large downhill that you'll find on this white-blazed trail.

You can do this trail as an out-and-back, or a looped hike if added with other trails from the Hereford Area Gunpowder Falls State Park.
