This trail passes through private property. Please be respectful of the Boy Scout Camp and stay on the trail.

Description

From the parking area at the end of Timberbrook Road, hike down the road for the Winnebago Boy Scout Camp. Watch for the yellow trail blazes on the left side of the road. After a short distance you reach an old forest road which the trail follows. On the left is Farny State Park and to the right is Winnebago Camp. The forest road leads to Durham Pond and passes by on the pond levee.

Past the pond the trail enters a thick forest area, and eventually you reach a trail junction with the Four Birds Trail. If hiking from the the Four Birds Trail, there is a no trespassing sign for hunter, trappers, etc... Seems hikers are permitted as the trail is on the NY/NJ Trail Conference Map for the area.
