Description

The turquoise-blazed trail runs through a valley to connect the Mt Tammny Fire Road to the Appalachian Trail. There's a fairly rocky descent on the south side of the valley, with a little stream at the bottom. It then follows the Sunfish Pond Fire Road for a piece before breaking away to pass around the north side of Sunfish Pond. There's a nice rock overlook of the pond just before intersecting with the Appalachian Trail.

Keep an eye out for the entrance to the trail on the Mt. Tammany Fire Road side. The road will continue pass the intersection to descend into private property. There are sometimes logs to help mark the entrance, but they may not always be there.
