The nature reserve opens daily at 7 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m.
Description
The Kiepersol Trail starts with a gentle dirt path ascent heading north from the intersection off the
Bloubos Trail shortly before reaching the Marais Family Homestead. Continue heading north on this trail over a gentle ascent to the junction with the
Wildebeest Trail. From here, your new heading will be northwest and will take you over numerous mild ascents and descents.
Here the path is mostly dirt and the elevation changes are etched into the mountainside with stone and gumpole steps. You'll pass the third intersection with the
Ruins Trail that veers off to the east. The Kiepersol Trail continues its northwest heading until its end at the
Beacon Trail intersection.
