Description

To reach this trail, park at the trailhead off Hwy-26. Take the Appalachian Trail heading west, and after a short distance, the Eyebrow Trail will turn off to the right, heading north.

Starting from the lower junction with the Appalachian Trail, the Eyebrow Trail climbs moderately over a seemingly excessive number of stone stairs. The trail takes a left turn and climbs up slippery rock; your way here is assisted by a cable railing, but still take care to watch your footing. Above this cable railway, there is a stream crossing over an open slab of rock. The water can make this area dangerous especially when there is ice. There are metal bars and a ladder to aid in the crossing.

After many, many more stone stairs and some rock scrambles, the trail reaches the top "the eyebrow" and an awesome view. The upper junction ends at the Appalachian Trail.
