Dogs Leashed
Description
The Yellow Trail is a winding section of sandy singletrack that connects to the
Inner Purple Trail at two points, and has two spurs that connect to the
Purple Trail, with one at an intersection with the
Orange Trail. The beginning of the trail is just south from the rugby pitch on the
Inner Purple Trail at a shared intersection with the
Red Trail. The
Inner Purple Trail turns west while the Yellow and
Red Trail head east. The first part of this trail parallels a portion of the
Red Trail in a section of the park that has too many trail segments for its own good. Once the trail turns south it gets some space to itself. The trail winds and bends a lot to significantly increase its length in such a small area. Although it gets quite close to the
Blue Trail and
Orange Trail, it doesn't connect to them until a spur at it's southernmost point that drops south to the very end of the
Orange Trail where it meets the
Purple Trail. This trail terminates at the
Inner Purple Trail where it meets the main
Purple Trail. The trail network in this part of the park is popular with other users, so be prepared to have to step off the trail occasionally to let them pass. This trail is considered moderate for biking, but is very easy hiking.
