Probably not advisable in wet/icy conditions as the rock may get quite slippery.

Description

This trail is a great out-and-back (2.7 miles) on red rock overlooking town. You can connect it to an out-and-back on City Creek Trail for a longer hike (8 miles), or connect it to City Creek Trail and back along the Red Hills Pkwy bike route for a loop-style route with an easier paved finish (7 miles).

This trail is mostly on slickrock and has a couple mild/short scrambles. Excellent views and fun footwork abound as you follow little cairns that mark the way.

Amazing that something like this looms over the city! We built several cairns, but it could use several more in some faint sections. — 1h 30m
