Family Friendly The hike alongside and wet crossings of Snowbird Creek make a fun summer adventure for kids. Middle Falls is an enjoyable and scenic spot for photos and a swim.

Description

This stretch of Snowbird Creek Trail #64 starts at the junction with Snowbird Creek Trail #64 - Lower Section and Middle Falls Trail #64A. The trail gradually climbs paralleling Snowbird Creek for 1.5 miles to the junction with Snowbird Creek Trail #64 - Upper Section.

This 1.5 mile stretch of Snowbird Creek Trail between the footbridge and Middle Falls crosses the creek 11 times. During periods of high water these creek crossings could become dangerous so use caution and good judgement when hiking this trail. If needed, these crossings can be avoided by using an alternate route, sometimes called Middle Falls Trail #64A which climbs a nearby ridge and rejoins Snowbird Creek Trail a few hundred yards upstream of Middle Falls. We only had 9 crossings. This was fun (if you want to get wet up to your knees). The rhodies crept into the trail but it wasn't hard to follow
