Description

Keep south at a sharp curve of Ridgeline Trail, pass a water trough, and follow the trail downhill. The descent is quite steep for a while. Reach the bottom of a small canyon after a quarter mile and head back up the hill. At the top, you have a nice view of the surrounding hills and can also get a glimpse of Lake Del Valle. The Hidden Canyon Trail leaves on the left at 0.7 miles and rejoins at 1 mile. The final ascent back up to the Ridgeline Trail is steep again.
