The trail starts next to the boat launch. Pass through the cattle gate and follow the trail alongside the beach. Hetch Hetchy Trail is to the right at 0.6 miles. Hetch Hetchy Group Camp is shortly thereafter on the left. There are ample swimming opportunities in this area. After 1 miles, Ridgeline Trail is on the right. Venados Group Camp follows on the left. Reach the southern beach of Badger Cove at 1.3 miles.
