Description
The Tswana Trail is an easy trail that is ideal for beginners who want to experience a short and gentle ascent into the mountainous area. The trail starts at the junction with
Gifbol Trail and
Bloubos Trail, heads east before turning north. It ends at the intersection with
Kiepersol Trail.
The trail also has a Tswana dwelling reconstruction.
Flora & Fauna
The reserve is home to approximately 215 bird species, which include Barbet's, Swifts, Swallows, Crows and Doves, and 9 large mammal species which include Zebra's, Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, Springbok and Red Hartebeest.
There is also an assortment of insect life, which includes various butterflies, geckos and lizards. Smaller mammals in the reserve include Klip Dassies.
