Family Friendly It's an easy trail, in town, and in the winter it's a pretty good sledding hill.

Description

This section of trail is short and exposed, connecting the southwest area of the park with the first and seventh avenue entrance trails. It's a high traffic area of the park with lots of hikers, runners, dog walkers, and in winter people sled down the north side of the dam. On the east side of the dam, the trail cuts between the creek and the Regina prairie and T-intersects with the First Avenue entrance loop.
