Family Friendly Trail is flat and wide on top of the mountain, and also at the bottom of the mountain, but there are a couple steeper sections in the middle

Description

Hiking from the Sugarcamp Mountain Trailhead, enjoy long-distance views toward WV and VA, while hiking on flat, wide trails. After a mile or so, the trail goes over the mountain toward Dewey Lake and Jenny Wiley State Resort Park. The descent is wide, but can be steep in places so use caution and dismount if unsure in those sections.

After reaching the bottom of the mountain, the Multi-Use Trail parallels Lake Road for about a mile, and deposits the hiker right at the Arrowhead Point Trailhead. This lower section was previously known as the Beginner Loop, so it is a great place for kids and adults to get acquainted with off-road hiking.
