Description

The Douglas Fir Trail provides convenient access from the east side of the arboretum to the upper parking area. The trail itself is wide, has minimal obstacles, and is generally easy going as it climbs from on and below the ridgeline. Where it nears the road to the summit, it narrows to an enjoyable singletrack that hugs the edge of the slope. You'll find some rolling terrain and shrouded views before arriving at the parking area.
