Description

Looking for solitude? The Garden Gulch Trail is a singletrack dirt and gravel path that is lightly used and provides alternative access to the English Peak area of Marble Mountain Wilderness. The trail is not an easier way in than the North Fork Trail, but it is similarly tough if not harder than the Little North Fork Trail. The Garden Gulch Trail does start on the Sawyers Bar Road; however, hikers generally drive past the Little North Fork Trail trailhead to reach the Garden Gulch Trail from higher up if heading into the English Peak area. Access to water can be difficult on this trail.

Flora & Fauna

Bear, deer, hawks, eagles.
