Description

The first mile and a half of this well-marked and well-built trail ascends at a reasonable pace with predictable switchbacked turns. Just after the intersection with Speedy Gonzales Trail, there's a short but punchy climb before the trail soon levels out. Once at the relatively flat section, you can shift up into your higher gears to keep your heart rate up until you reach the Four Corners intersection with Ratical Trail, Rattus Maximus Trail, and Rat Trap Trail.
