Description

This trail is part of the South Trail System along with the Woodland Trail and the Openfield Trail. Combined with the North Trail System, these trails make up the Horse/Bike trail system of the park. Take caution when approaching horses—always announce your presence and stop while the horse passes you.

This section features a beautiful vista of Lake Winnebago, accessed via the Overlook Trail Viewpoint. This trail is also maintained as a cross-country ski path when possible in the winter.
